Board of Directors

Jill McDonnell
President

Jill McDonnell returned to her St. Louis roots in July 2013 after a nearly 11-year absence. During her time away, Jill received her degree in magazine journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia, her master’s degree in public relations and advertising from DePaul University, and spent several years working and living in Chicago.

Jill now serves as a communications specialist II at Edward Jones. She is also working (feverishly) on writing her first novel, #Perfect, about the life and times of four 29-year-olds in the Gateway to the West.

Jill will never forget the kindness of the Lafayette community when her father passed away suddenly her senior year. She feels very privileged to help keep our incredible class connected through harnessing 2002's giving and compassionate spirit to now honor Ryan, Eric, Bobby and David through the scholarships awarded to outstanding Lafayette seniors in their memory.

Rich Finneran
Treasurer

Rich Finneran obtained his degree in philosophy from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill before returning to St. Louis to attend law school at Washington University. He now is an attorney at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP in St. Louis and an adjunct professor at Washington University, where he coaches the school's National Moot Court Team.

The Class of 2002 Memorial Scholarship is important to Rich because beyond giving him the great privilege of honoring the memory of our departed classmates, working on the Memorial Scholarship has shown him the value of maintaining and renewing the strong bond we all share as members of a truly exceptional class of Lafayette graduates.

Ashley Cook
Secretary

Ashley Cook received her degree in integrated marketing communications from Maryville University. She currently works as marketing specialist for Logan University. She resides in Eureka with her husband, Grant and daughter, Emily.

The Class of 2002 Memorial Scholarship is important to Ashley because she feels strongly about preserving the memory of her former classmates, especially Ryan Trigg who was a friend since kindergarten.

Executive Committee

Brian Woll

Brian Woll obtained his degree in sociology and anthropology at Truman State University, then headed to Washington University where he completed his master's degree in nonprofit management while working for the undergraduate College of Arts & Sciences. In 2012, Brian moved from St. Louis to Seattle, and now manages fundraising and development operations at the ACLU of Washington state. Brian lives with his husband in the Wallingford neighborhood, but frequently escapes to the mountains for peaceful hikes.

The Class of 2002 Memorial Scholarship is important to Brian because it gives financial assistance to students in a way that honors the diversity of LHS student interests and backgrounds.

Megan Kimball

Megan Kimball graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a degree in Communications with an emphasis in visual media. After working in news broadcast, Megan moved to Washington, DC to work in non-broadcast video productions at a local communications firm.

Megan recently moved back to St. Louis to be closer to family. She is an assistant account executive in the fast-paced world of advertising and marketing at a local creative agency. When she isn’t spending time with family, Megan enjoys yoga, crafts, photography and music.

Shedding a light on those we've lost keeps their memory burning bright. The Class of 2002 Memorial Scholarship Fund is important to Megan because she believes everyone we meet shape who we're destined to become. She is proud to honor our fellow classmates while fostering the next generation of society's leaders.

Crosby Mulwee

Crosby Mulwee graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2006 with a degree in Finance and Banking. After spending five years in Kansas City and working for Ernst & Young, Crosby and his family relocated to Atlanta, where he is a leader in the liquidity and capital management group at SunTrust Bank. Crosby, his wife Whitney, daughter Caroline and dog Bella currently live in the Buckhead area of Atlanta.

The Class of 2002 Memorial Scholarship is important to Crosby because he said it keeps his classmates' memory and legacy alive while supporting very deserving high school seniors as they make their way into college.
